Base Salary
$150k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build core backend systems, preferably using Python.
- Build APIs, services, and infrastructure for real-time accounting logic.
- Launch production-ready features, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with product teams to optimize finance workflows.
- Manage complexity in business-logic-heavy products.
- Integrate third-party tools and manage edge cases.
- Own the entire process from architecture to post-release care.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in backend engineering.
- Deep experience with complex business logic products.
- Experience deploying on AWS or similar cloud infrastructure.
- Strong database skills, including PostgreSQL and SQL.
- Experience building and testing robust APIs.
- Solid understanding of software lifecycle and CI/CD.
- Ability to manage complex systems with evolving requirements.
- Proficiency in Python and modern web frameworks is a plus.
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
