Base Salary
$157k - $196k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement security remediation and compliance checks for core RHIVOS services.
- Lead Security Operating Approvals and complete Privacy Impact Analyses and Security Impact Analyses for internal audit requirements.
- Develop and maintain resilient, well-tested modules using object-oriented programming, functional safety, and risk assessment outcomes.
- Develop production-grade modules for OpenShift Tekton ecosystem pipelines.
- Implement RHIVOS package validation based on ISO-26262 functional safety standards and ASIL-B.
- Refine safety mitigation hypotheses through data analysis and communicate with assessment subject matter experts.
- Build and manage RPM-based distributions and RHEL composes using Koji, Brew, or equivalent tools.
- Support RHEL release engineering, including failure triage and work with Red Hat errata and advisories.
- Manage artifacts required for RHEL or equivalent image creation.
- Create supply-chain pipelines for the RHIVOS toolchain in OpenShift.
- Provide compliance evidence for Quality Management Systems supporting ISO-21434 and IEEE-32675.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field plus three years of experience in the job offered or a related role, or a bachelor’s degree in the same fields plus five years of experience.
- Three years of experience deploying and orchestrating at scale within enterprise-grade distributed container hosting platforms.
- Two years of experience developing core libraries and validation modules in Python or equivalent.
- Two years of experience implementing or maintaining systems against ISO-26262 Functional Safety standards, including follow-on activities.
- Two years of experience developing automated package validation using Continuous Certification or similar high-assurance validation frameworks.
- Two years of experience with security and compliance for services, tools, and infrastructure.
- One year of experience using Koji, Brew, or equivalent tools for RPM-based distributions and RHEL composes.
- One year of experience with RHEL release engineering, artifact lifecycle management, RHIVOS supply-chain pipelines, and compliance evidence for systems supporting ISO-21434 and IEEE-32675.
