Base Salary
$124k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Optimize backend applications for speed, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with technical architects and designers on new products.
- Drive adoption, governance, validation standards, and reuse of approved AI-assisted engineering practices and automation across the software development lifecycle.
- Apply software development lifecycle tools and approved AI-assisted development capabilities to improve automation at scale.
- Follow and promote Scrum, Lean, BDD, TDD, and continuous delivery practices.
- Research technologies, identify best practices, adapt quickly, and provide technical guidance across the organization.
- Work with globally distributed teams to deliver end-to-end solutions across regions.
- Advise and collaborate with Wealth Managers and Product Specialists and synthesize their feedback.
- Present and demonstrate solutions to users, stakeholders, and technology groups.
Requirements
- Formal software engineering training or certification and at least 1 year of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud, Spring Flux, and Spring Security.
- Experience developing web UIs with ReactJS, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Relational database development skills, including SQL and data modeling.
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and setting expectations for validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations, plus experience coaching senior engineers or leads on compliant usage.
- Ability to solve design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight.
- Practical cloud-native experience.
- Preferred experience with reactive programming, DevOps, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Atlassian tools, and financial services or investment securities.
