Responsibilities

Architect, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services.
Design and implement RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and microservices supporting frontend applications.
Optimize performance, security, and reliability for large-scale cloud applications.
Collaborate with frontend developers, security teams, and DevOps engineers on backend innovation.
Design efficient database storage and retrieval solutions.
Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
Mentor junior developers and promote backend development best practices.
Work with React and TypeScript to integrate frontend and backend components.
Drive architectural decisions and continuously improve development processes.

12+ years of backend development experience, with exposure to full-stack development.
Expertise in one or more of Go, Python, or Java, with experience in DataBricks.
Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL.
Proficiency in asynchronous programming, multithreading, and performance optimization.
Familiarity with message queues such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS.
Strong understanding of security best practices, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
Proficiency with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, and ECS.
Familiarity with AI-native tools such as LangChain and Langfuse, and with AI-DLC development lifecycle practices.
Bonus experience with Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, cloud-native architectures, Azure, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Terraform, CloudFormation, cybersecurity products such as XDR, MDR, and SOC, cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and MITRE, and Git.
Interest in cybersecurity and security operations.
