Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write, test, and deploy code using Amazon and AWS tools.
- Perform technical analysis, application design, development, and implementation.
- Plan and analyze system enhancement requirements and translate them into well-architected solutions.
- Troubleshoot and fix defects in planned releases and production systems.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional Scrum team and product manager to maintain and enhance products and services.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
- Build scalable platforms and full-stack applications that help AWS sell new products and services.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 4 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- At least 3 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 3 years of programming experience with a modern language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: experience with machine learning and large language model fundamentals, including model architecture, training and inference lifecycles, and execution optimization.
- Preferred: experience developing, deploying, and managing AI products at scale.
- Preferred: experience with spec-based development using an IDE such as Kiro.
- Preferred: experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting AI solutions in production.
