Responsibilities
- Explain Engine’s architecture, technology, functionality, and value to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Uncover client requirements and lead technical solution designs during Engine implementation projects.
- Collaborate with clients, systems integrator partners, Technology, Delivery, Product, Client Success, and Business Development teams.
- Design and support software service integrations using RESTful APIs, OpenAPI specifications, and sequence diagrams.
- Own the technical aspects of client deliveries, troubleshoot integration challenges, and guide client engineering teams.
- Translate client needs into technical requirements and contribute to product roadmap and future capability decisions.
- Support existing clients’ ongoing success and help them maximize Engine’s current and future capabilities.
Requirements
- Experience with end-to-end software engineering or solution architecture across the software delivery lifecycle.
- Experience with software service design and integration, including RESTful APIs, OpenAPI specifications, and sequence diagrams.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and large-scale cloud applications.
- Experience working in a client-facing role and building stakeholder relationships.
- Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills, including communicating complex technical subjects to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in retail or business banking, core banking, card processing, or payments is preferred.
- Experience delivering core banking or large-scale digital transformation programs, application migration, and solution integration is preferred.
- Commercial acumen, experience building business cases, SaaS client solutions or client engineering experience, and knowledge of global financial regulations are preferred.
- Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally, including an initial period working with engineering and product teams in London.
