Base Salary
$234k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build automation systems for global networking infrastructure.
- Enable one-click regional bootstrapping, teardown, and validation.
- Improve the safety, speed, and correctness of infrastructure changes.
- Lead technical initiatives to reduce manual operations and eliminate errors.
- Balance reliability, security, and cost efficiency at global scale.
- Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar across the organization.
Requirements
- BS/MS/PhD in a scientific field or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of relevant engineering experience with technical lead experience.
- Experience building large-scale distributed systems in production.
- Strong programming skills in Go, Rust, C++, or Java.
- Familiarity with cloud networking, Kubernetes, proxies/load balancers, DNS, and infrastructure automation tools.
- Curiosity and interest in deep infrastructure and networking domains.
