Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare technical design specifications for product and architectural initiatives.
- Drive architectural governance, platform convergence, and planning across engineering initiatives and feature delivery.
- Identify application improvement opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
- Lead design sessions, conduct code reviews, and assist and mentor development staff.
- Provide technical direction, facilitate engineering decisions, and foster a learning culture.
- Lead or contribute to cloud, DevOps, and AI modernization initiatives.
- Translate AI innovation into business and productivity impact.
- Communicate clearly with executive leadership, peers, stakeholders, and development teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience in .NET full-stack development is required.
- A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Significant experience designing, implementing, and enhancing systems, including architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Significant experience in analytical system engineering, design, and implementation.
- Fluency and specialization in modern languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience building products with microservices architectural patterns and extensible REST APIs.
- Familiarity with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code.
- Proven experience leading cloud, DevOps, or AI modernization initiatives.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, automation, and engineering toolchains.
- Experience with application monitoring tools and performance assessments is preferred.
- Understanding of security architecture, protocols, Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, and OAuth is preferred.
- Experience with AWS and Azure and a background in multi-cloud environments is preferred.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
