Responsibilities
- Develop technical plans and contribute to technical architecture as Fin scales to serve tens of millions of people daily.
- Build backend and frontend systems for Fin’s customer-agent products.
- Write Ruby code integrating AWS, infrastructure, platform, and SaaS technologies.
- Ship changes and features rapidly through the company’s automated production deployment process.
- Mentor engineers and interview candidates to help grow the team.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, researchers, and data analysts on multidisciplinary product teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience in a software engineering role, preferably building a SaaS product.
- Demonstrated significant impact on a product and/or engineering team.
- Deep knowledge of a high-level programming language such as Ruby, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience collaborating directly with product teams and designers and delivering value to customers or users.
- Experience with distributed systems.
