Base Salary
$147k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Integrate software subscriptions with Okta for user management.
- Create Terraform configurations to consistently manage GCP and AWS.
- Build and deploy software that monitors security vulnerabilities.
- Aggregate costs across services into a consistent format.
- Automate audits of user access across software subscriptions.
- Build and maintain pipelines for managing people, accounts, and permissions.
- Troubleshoot, document, and maintain internal systems.
- Develop incident-response automation, including auto-remediation workflows for common alerts.
- Implement backup and disaster-recovery automation across critical systems and data stores.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in IT or software development, including at least 3 years focused primarily on automation.
- Strong coding ability in a language such as Python.
- Familiarity with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with Terraform, Kandji/Iru, and Okta.
- Experience administering and supporting major cloud providers such as AWS and Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals.
- Ability to collaborate with non-technical departments to translate business requirements into automated solutions.
- Strong documentation experience focused on clear runbooks and end-user guides.
- Familiarity with SAML and SCIM for identity and access management.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- A background in cybersecurity and hands-on experience supporting security and compliance audits are bonuses.
