Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and evolve scalable applications and technology solutions for high-volume, highly available environments.
- Translate business and technical requirements into application architectures, designs, and production-ready implementations.
- Research technologies, build proof of concepts, and support system modernization and legacy-platform transformation initiatives.
- Develop and support ETL processes, data pipelines, messaging, and Spring Batch or pub/sub applications.
- Improve automated testing, deployment pipelines, development environments, and system reliability.
- Use GenAI assistants for implementation, refactoring, testing, reviews, scripting, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating correctness.
- Establish effective team practices for agentic workflows, spec-driven development, custom instructions, and prompt engineering.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and business stakeholders, document technical solutions, and provide knowledge sharing and mentorship.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with Java, Spring, cloud development, and REST or SOAP web services for high-volume, highly available applications.
- At least 2 years of experience with ETL processes, data pipelines, or messaging frameworks.
- At least 1 year of experience with Spring Batch or messaging/pub-sub applications using Java frameworks.
- At least 1 year of experience with CI/CD tools such as Bamboo and Bitbucket/Git or similar tools.
- At least 1 year of experience with AWS, GCP, or Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
- At least 1 year of experience with distributed databases such as PostgreSQL, Aerospike, or Yugabyte.
- At least 1 year of experience supporting IT transformation or system modernization initiatives.
- At least 1 year of experience using AI assistance for common development tasks with ownership for correctness and quality.
- Practical familiarity with GitHub Copilot and/or Claude Code in IDE or CLI workflows.
- Working knowledge of agentic workflows, spec-driven development, custom instructions, and prompt engineering, including establishing team-level AI-assisted development practices.
- Preferred experience includes Agile environments, JIRA, .NET, C#, Visual Studio, RabbitMQ, financial services or regulated industries, Test-Driven Development, architecture documentation, and technical collaboration.
