Responsibilities
- Lead a team of quality engineers through multidisciplinary planning and ecosystem integration.
- Develop and continuously improve testing frameworks, processes, and end-to-end testing strategies.
- Design and execute performance and load testing scenarios using Apache JMeter.
- Define and implement metrics to assess testing, execution, application performance, and defect resolution.
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve application performance and reliability.
- Mentor junior team members and drive adoption of quality engineering and testing best practices.
- Coordinate communication with development, operations, and other teams to resolve performance issues and meet quality objectives.
- Act as a subject matter expert and make decisions for the team and across multiple teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience is required, including a minimum of 5 years using Apache JMeter.
- Proficiency in Apache JMeter, including performance and load testing.
- Strong knowledge of test planning, test case design, and defect lifecycle management.
- Ability to analyze test results and improve application performance and reliability.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines for automated testing.
- Ability to collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot performance issues.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
