Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, implement, and deploy new or revised application systems.
- Partner with management teams and global colleagues to integrate functions and define system enhancements for new products and process improvements.
- Analyze complex business and system processes to resolve high-impact problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Ensure application designs align with the overall architecture blueprint and establish coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards.
- Assess how architecture and infrastructure areas integrate to achieve business goals.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary.
- Manage implementation of successful projects and address risk, compliance, and control issues transparently.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant applications development experience.
- Strong technical experience with Java, Spring Boot, MQ, Kafka, Oracle, and SQL queries.
- Extensive experience in system analysis and software application programming.
- Subject matter expertise in at least one area of applications development.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Ability to adjust priorities quickly and communicate clearly and concisely in writing and verbally.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
