Base Salary
$125k - $188k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support customers with understanding, integrating, customizing, building, and bringing up Qualcomm software.
- Provide display and graphics software support on Linux-based Qualcomm Snapdragon embedded platforms.
- Work with hardware interfaces, device drivers, display and graphics processors, the Linux kernel, and high-level operating-system frameworks.
- Program and debug device drivers using JTAG and other debugging tools.
- Interface continually with Qualcomm customers and internal teams and provide customer training.
- Travel to customer sites and Qualcomm offices in the U.S. and abroad for support, meetings, and training as required.
Requirements
- Strong C/C++ programming skills are required.
- Experience with device-driver programming and debugging using JTAG or other tools is required.
- Understanding of display and graphics technologies, the software stack, Linux kernel, and display/GPU processing is required.
- Knowledge of microprocessor architecture, cache subsystems, and debugging techniques on generic processors is required.
- Knowledge of operating-system or system performance profiling and optimization techniques is preferred.
- Strong communication, written, interpersonal, teamwork, motivation, self-direction, and ability to learn quickly are required.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus 2+ years of relevant experience; or a master's degree plus 1+ year; or a PhD in a related field.
- At least 1 year of academic and/or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- At least 1 year of academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques.

- Pay range is $125,400.00-$188,200.00.
