Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery, demonstrations, and validation of GitLab’s platform against customer technical and business needs.
- Own technical evaluations, including solution design, proof of concept or proof of value delivery, workshop design, and technical tender, audit, and value stream assessment components.
- Partner with Account Executives and regional sales teams on account strategies for customer acquisition and expansion.
- Build relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders and guide them through GitLab-driven transformation.
- Advise customers on software development, continuous integration, continuous deployment, security, and cloud practices.
- Share customer feedback, use cases, and competitive insights with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
- Create reusable technical examples, best-practice guidance, and customer and partner collateral.
- Participate in ongoing learning, mentorship, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
- Proficiency with the end-to-end software development lifecycle and modern DevSecOps practices.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control, continuous integration and continuous deployment, and collaboration platforms.
- Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts and related technologies.
- Experience leading proofs of concept or proofs of value, tenders, audits, workshops, or value stream assessments.
- Strong technical communication and presentation skills for technical and business audiences.
- Ability to build trusted customer relationships and advocate for customers internally.
- Motivation to continue developing technical and GitLab platform expertise.
- Fluency in Arabic.
