Base Salary
$182k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own backend services and APIs from design to deployment.
- Drive architectural decisions and bring clarity to complex problems.
- Lead improvements to core platform systems, including data pipelines.
- Design and enable safe experimentation through A/B testing.
- Diagnose and resolve data quality and performance issues.
- Write clean, maintainable production code and conduct code reviews.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data teams to execute technical plans.
- Contribute to cross-team architectural discussions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Deep expertise in backend engineering, service design, and API development.
- Experience with systems where reliability and data quality are critical.
- Ability to operate in ambiguous problem spaces and drive clarity.
- Data-driven mindset comfortable with experimentation and optimization.
- Product-minded approach understanding the impact of technical decisions.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools.
