Responsibilities
- Design and develop SystemC TLM models representing complex SoC architectures.
- Integrate processors, interconnects, peripherals, and custom IP blocks into SystemC simulators.
- Define software requirements and implement TLM models for complex, large-scale products and systems.
- Lead design, coding, and testing efforts while ensuring project specifications and schedules are met.
- Perform code reviews, regression tests, issue triage, and defect fixes.
- Collaborate with hardware designers, software engineers, systems engineers, and test engineers to develop integrated solutions.
- Work independently, make decisions affecting program and product success, and influence key organizational decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field and 4+ years of software engineering or related experience; alternatively, a master's degree with 3+ years or a PhD with 2+ years.
- 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Extensive C++ programming experience for efficient virtual model development.
- Experience with SystemC TLM or QEMU and modern C++.
- Knowledge of ARM architecture, including CPU, GIC, and CoreSight Debug.
- Experience with firmware or device-driver development and debugging.
- Preferred: 10+ years of software or firmware engineering experience and 5+ years developing virtual platforms or simulators.
- Preferred: open-source development, unit testing, continuous integration, ARM Fast Models, and server architecture including RAS and manageability.
- Experience with Git revision control is preferred.
