Base Salary
$112k - $304k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop secure, scalable generative AI services and applications using Python and modern frameworks.
- Build and optimize high-performance APIs and microservices integrating AI models and agentic workflows into the core platform.
- Own system design and architecture for core platform components from proposal through production deployment.
- Implement responsive user interfaces with React and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, DevOps engineers, and other cross-functional teams.
- Partner with DevOps teams on continuous deployment, logging, and monitoring for distributed workloads.
- Mentor other engineers and take accountability for resilient, high-quality code from conception through production.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with strong production Python development.
- Experience building and deploying generative AI applications using LLMs, vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or pgvector, and open-source agentic frameworks.
- Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, AWS, GCP, or Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of FastAPI, Asyncio, PostgreSQL, and AI developer tools including Claude, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
- Experience with enterprise architecture and technologies including IAM, SSO, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, RBAC, enterprise administration, or billing systems.
- Collaborative communication, mentoring ability, ownership, and a proactive approach to solving complex technical problems.
