Base Salary
$271k - $373k/yr
Responsibilities
- Research, implement, and evaluate deep-learning methods for prediction and planning in autonomous vehicle products.
- Design, run, and analyze experiments using real-world data to evaluate solution efficiency.
- Partner with system software engineering specialists to deploy industrial-strength ML models at scale.
- Lead innovation and collaborate with cross-functional teams on ML-based planning solutions.
- Communicate research, technical findings, and plans across multifunctional teams.
Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, applied mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 15+ years of experience building machine learning systems for autonomous vehicles or similar robotics applications.
- Deep understanding of large language models and transformers.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying large-scale production machine learning systems.
- Experience with deep neural network training, inference, and optimization using PyTorch, TensorFlow, TensorRT, or similar frameworks.
- Strong understanding of the mathematical foundations of machine learning and deep learning.
- Leadership ability and a track record of innovation in ML-based planning solutions.
- Preferred qualifications include experience as an ML planning lead, publications in ML for planning or vision, and experience building and deploying vision-language-action or chain-of-thought models.
