Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales, Solution Architecture, and Implementation teams to drive client engagement, customer wins, and Professional Services revenue.
- Plan and execute integration engineering end to end, from high-level architecture through coding.
- Explain Stripe’s products and API architecture to customers and technical stakeholders.
- Educate users and the developer community about Stripe’s value proposition, best practices, and technical developments.
- Serve as the primary ongoing technical contact for major users’ and partners’ technical teams.
- Track new Stripe technologies and software products and demonstrate technical thought leadership through whitepapers, conferences, and industry events.
- Provide recommendations, feedback, and best practices to Product and Engineering teams.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in a Software Engineering or Integration Engineering role.
- Experience with code-level debugging of Stripe code and user code.
- Ability to explain technical concepts, Stripe product features, and API architecture.
- A user-first approach and empathy for users.
- Confidence working directly with customers.
- Strong generalist technical experience.
- Ability to solve open-ended problems independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to learn and teach others.
- Collaborative, communicative, and consultative working style.
- Intellectual curiosity and strong problem-solving skills.
