Base Salary
$225k - $310k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize ML-driven research infrastructure using Python, PyTorch, and JAX.
- Optimize machine-learning model training and inference.
- Deploy machine-learning models from research into production.
- Build tooling to integrate data from diverse exchanges and sources.
- Improve the resilience and performance of trading systems.
- Collaborate with trading execution and other external engineering support teams.
- Mentor engineers and share engineering practices across the team and company.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong background in backend systems, distributed computing, or data infrastructure.
- Programming experience with languages such as Python, Go, and C++.
- Understanding of database technologies including Postgres, MySQL, Cassandra, DynamoDB, SQLite, DuckDB, or MongoDB, plus experience with REST or gRPC APIs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on high-quality, maintainable, well-documented solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across engineering and research teams.
- Preferred qualifications include expertise in data pipelines, profiling and performance optimization, PyTorch or JAX deep learning and reinforcement learning frameworks, ML research infrastructure, quantitative market-making strategies, model productionization, and cross-team collaboration.
