Base Salary
$157k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, review, and debug secure, high-quality production software.
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices with validation standards for secure coding, peer review, and automated testing.
- Identify and automate remediation of recurring issues to improve application and system stability.
- Lead evaluations of vendor, startup, and internal architectural solutions for integration into existing systems.
- Lead software engineering communities of practice and promote adoption of emerging technologies.
- Support system design, application development, testing, operational stability, cloud-native delivery, and production operations.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 5 years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, operational stability, and the software development life cycle.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and React.
- Proficiency with automation and continuous delivery methods.
- Advanced understanding of application resiliency and security practices.
- Technical experience in areas such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of financial-services industry IT systems.
- Preferred experience with large-scale enterprise applications, production support, operational management, application modernization, regulated environments, SRE/DevOps, and incident management.
