Responsibilities
- Execute and evolve the solution architecture vision and strategy for the European Transportation Ecosystem.
- Translate complex business requirements into solution architecture designs for agentic solutions, communication platforms, and Control Tower capabilities.
- Perform hands-on data modeling, mapping, schema definition, and semantic-layer development with data teams.
- Build, prototype, and iterate solution designs with product and project teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Develop reference architectures, patterns, guidelines, process flows, diagrams, structured data, frameworks, and technology-stack documentation.
- Conduct architecture reviews for in-flight projects and ensure alignment with standards, security policies, and performance requirements.
- Participate in Architecture Review Boards and working groups, presenting designs and defending architectural decisions.
- Document and promote architectural best practices, lead Communities of Practice, and evaluate emerging technologies and innovation opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Data Architecture or the IT industry.
- Working knowledge of Azure cloud architectures, enterprise integration patterns, and DevOps practices.
- Experience leading solution design for generative technologies, including effort estimation, pricing, and client business-case presentations.
- Deep knowledge of system, application, infrastructure, network, cloud, and security architecture.
- Knowledge of Delta Lake, database systems, query optimization, data modeling, data integration, and ETL processes.
- Experience with Databricks and Microsoft Azure, plus basic programming skills in Python and SQL.
- Familiarity with SonarQube, GitHub, Azure DevOps, CI/CD processes, Agile environments, and basic project management.
- Preferred experience with Generative AI or Agentic AI solutions, semantic models, LLMs, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Agent Service, and Microsoft Copilot Studio.
- Preferred understanding of data governance, data privacy, Power Platform, Model Context Protocol, and Agent-to-Agent protocols.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, written, verbal English communication, prioritization, and stakeholder-influencing skills.
- Consulting experience or prior experience in a client-facing technical specialist role is advantageous.
