Base Salary
$179k - $273k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive engineering projects to completion with a focus on business impact, prioritization, and urgency.
- Execute backend ideas quickly and effectively while supporting other teams and engineers.
- Solve difficult technical problems at any level of the stack and persist through implementation.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and other cross-functional teams to plan and execute engineering projects.
- Work on large projects and lead small teams of engineers.
- Build the platform foundation for hyper-local social proof and community-driven homeowner experiences.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- Fluency in at least one major programming language and the ability to switch between multiple languages.
- Experience with Go, Python, PHP, Swift, Kotlin, or Java, with Swift, Kotlin, and Java used for mobile applications.
- Solid experience building software on relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL.
- Ability to write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code.
- Experience leveraging AI coding agents to deliver production software.
- Experience supporting and maintaining production software platforms.
- Curiosity, data-driven problem solving, and the ability to understand technical tradeoffs.
