Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver ABAP RICEFW objects, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
- Develop classical and object-oriented ABAP solutions across the full lifecycle from requirements analysis through deployment.
- Collaborate with functional consultants supporting SD, FI, MM, and SRM processes.
- Design, troubleshoot, and maintain integrations using OData, REST/SOAP APIs, PI/PO, middleware, and SAP BTP integration services.
- Build and optimize CDS views and adapt legacy ABAP objects for S/4HANA simplifications and performance improvements.
- Perform SAP Note analysis, system upgrades, SPAU/SPDD adjustments, performance tuning, testing, defect resolution, transport management, and ChaRM-based change delivery.
- Create technical specifications, interface design documents, code and configuration documentation, and ensure compliance with development and audit standards.
Requirements
- 6–8+ years of strong hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
- Proven experience delivering RICEFW objects across large SAP landscapes.
- Strong experience with OData services, APIs, PI/PO, SAP BTP integrations, performance optimization, SPAU/SPDD, and SAP Notes.
- Hands-on ABAP experience supporting SD, FI, and MM/SRM modules, including SAP tables, data structures, and document flows.
- Experience with S/4HANA ABAP development, CDS views, and code remediation or optimization for S/4HANA migrations.
- Ability to work independently and take end-to-end ownership of technical deliverables.
- Strong communication, documentation, governance, and collaboration skills.
- Experience supporting ECC-to-S/4HANA migration programs, SAP Clean Core and extensibility strategies, or SAP ABAP/S/4HANA certifications is desirable.
