Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain game client features, content, and existing systems using C++ and visual scripting.
  • Implement game design requirements, platform features, and integrations for an AAA free-to-play online title.
  • Investigate and resolve technical and live-service issues to maintain a stable, high-quality gameplay experience.
  • Collaborate with engineers, producers, designers, art, production, and publishing partners.
  • Integrate and maintain third-party libraries and SDKs.
  • Support code quality through code reviews, testing, and bug fixing.
  • Develop tools and improve workflows for cross-functional teams.
  • Provide task estimates, manage time, and deliver features and live-service support under the guidance of a Lead Engineer or Technical Director.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7+ years of software development experience, preferably in the video game industry with live-service experience.
  • Strong proficiency in C++.
  • Experience developing diverse game features and content, with a strong understanding of UI/UX implementation workflows.
  • Experience with object-oriented design, software architecture, and software engineering best practices.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, ownership, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience shipping at least one commercial video game title.
  • Experience with networking, rendering, AI, or animation systems is a plus.
  • Experience with visual scripting systems or equivalent UI frameworks used in commercial game engines is a plus.
  • Mobile game development experience is an asset but not required.
  • Proficiency with modern AI-assisted and agentic engineering tools.
  • Proficiency in Korean or English is preferred but not required.
