Responsibilities
- Build successful relationships with clients to provide technical and business value.
- Engage clients through hands-on evaluation and Spark programming.
- Contribute to the Databricks technical community at workshops and seminars.
- Act as a Big Data Analytics advisor on architecture and design.
- Author reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications.
- Develop skills in pre-sales and aim to become an independent Solutions Architect.
Requirements
- Experience in a technical customer-facing role with a background in Data Science, Generative AI, Machine Learning, Data Warehousing, or Data Engineering.
- Experience in vertical sectors such as Entertainment, Media, Telco, Financial Services, or Retail.
- Pre-sales or post-sales experience working with external clients.
- Ability to independently deliver technical propositions and identify customer pain points.
- Proficiency in a core programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Knowledge of Big Data Analytics and exposure to major public cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
