Responsibilities
- Develop backend services for virtual ECUs, simulation orchestration, and model execution.
- Build SIL tools for scenario execution, data capture, and automation.
- Integrate AI/ML components into simulation and validation pipelines.
- Design APIs for simulation control, artifact management, and orchestration.
- Optimize performance for compute-intensive simulation and AI workloads.
- Collaborate with DevOps and simulation teams on system integration.
- Contribute to CI/CD workflows for simulation and AI components.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in software development, simulation, or embedded systems.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, C#, or Java.
- Experience with simulation or virtualization, including vECUs, FMUs, or SIL.
- Understanding of cloud services and distributed systems.
- Experience designing CLI-based tools and knowledge of MCP-based architecture for AI tools.
- Experience with databases for simulation metadata and results.
- Preferred qualifications include ML lifecycle basics, vector search or embeddings, model integration, simulation microservices, Kubernetes, performance tuning, automotive data and domain modeling, ontology-based engineering processes, architecture frameworks, OWL, RDF, SPARQL, and automated reasoning.
