Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver high-quality scalable software solutions using aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
- Build and maintain full stack applications using Java, Spring, frontend technologies, databases, messaging systems, and cloud or DevOps tooling.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Participate in code reviews, promote code quality and knowledge sharing, and implement unit testing practices.
- Apply secure coding practices, manage technology risks, and strengthen controls and governance.
- Support the successful delivery of Location Strategy projects according to plan, budget, quality, and governance standards.
- Analyze complex information, communicate findings, influence stakeholders, and contribute to technology communities.
Requirements
- Experience with Core Java and Java 11 or 17.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate or JPA, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Frontend experience with Angular preferred, or React, along with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap or Material Design.
- Experience with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, SQL query optimization, and database design.
- Experience with Kafka, IBM MQ, JMS, and REST or SOA integration.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift, Jenkins, GitHub or GitLab, Maven or Gradle, CI/CD pipelines, and SonarQube.
- Experience with JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, and Selenium testing frameworks.
- Cloud platform experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is valued.
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture and distributed systems is valued.
- Experience in financial services, banking, lending, wealth management, or payments platforms is valued.
- Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, or the ELK stack is valued.
- Ability to collaborate across functions, communicate complex information, influence stakeholders, and manage risk and controls.
