Base Salary
$209k - $262k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Design and implement large-scale, distributed, cloud-native systems with high reliability and performance requirements.
- Use Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS services, and database technologies to deliver solutions.
- Provide technical leadership across multiple teams and shape system architecture, platform roadmaps, shared-services strategy, and long-term technology direction.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and product leaders to deliver cloud-based customer and regulatory solutions.
- Mentor engineers, support professional development, and influence enterprise-wide technical standards, coding practices, and design patterns.
- Lead architectural design reviews, cross-functional engineering efforts, observability initiatives, and reliability improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related quantitative field is required.
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience is required; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies is required.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, 9+ years coding in multiple listed languages, and extensive experience with open-source frameworks, frontend frameworks, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, automated testing, version control, and cloud troubleshooting.
- Preferred experience includes mentoring senior engineers, leading architecture reviews, influencing technology strategy, implementing observability and reliability practices, and leading large-scale technical initiatives.
- Experience with modern AI-based coding tools, IDE copilots, and interactive AI productivity tooling is preferred.

- Full-time annual base salary ranges from $209,000 to $262,400 depending on location; the role is also eligible for performance-based incentive compensation.
