Base Salary

$143k - $304k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders to determine user requirements across teams.
  • Guide virtual teams in identifying dependencies and developing design documents for products, applications, services, or platforms.
  • Optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to improve performance, maintainability, effectiveness, and ROI.
  • Coordinate project plans, release plans, and work items across multiple groups.
  • Act as a technical expert for DRI responsibilities and monitor systems and services for degradation, downtime, or interruptions with on-call teams.
  • Lead product development and scaling to customer requirements while maintaining performance and safety expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
  • Coding experience with one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Ability to pass Microsoft and customer or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
  • Preferred: master’s degree and 8+ years of technical engineering experience, or bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: 5+ years of engineering experience with distributed systems and 3+ years of engineering experience in cloud infrastructure.

Benefits

  • The typical U.S. base pay range is USD $142,800–$274,800 per year, with a separate San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area range of USD $188,000–$304,200 per year.
  • Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
