Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript.
- Develop scalable RESTful APIs and microservices and build reusable components and shared libraries.
- Build frontend applications using React.
- Design event-driven and asynchronous systems using Kafka or RabbitMQ where applicable.
- Design and deploy cloud-native and serverless applications on AWS, including AWS Lambda and Amazon S3.
- Work with Docker-based applications and support deployments on ECS and EKS environments.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
- Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases, SQL queries, stored procedures, schemas, indexes, and migrations.
- Implement authentication, authorization, encryption, secure coding, vulnerability scanning, and security validation.
- Implement monitoring, dashboards, alerts, root cause analysis, and performance tuning using Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, DevOps, and Security teams and produce technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
Requirements
- Experience or capability in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript, React, RESTful APIs, microservices, and domain-driven design.
- Knowledge of AWS cloud-native development, AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, Docker, ECS, EKS, IAM, VPC, Security Groups, ALB, NLB, and Route 53.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, infrastructure automation, environment provisioning, and deployment across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, SQL, stored procedures, query optimization, indexing, schemas, migrations, and distributed data consistency.
- Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, role-based access control, OWASP Top 10, encryption, dependency vulnerability scanning, and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience with application monitoring and observability using Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, JVM metrics, dashboards, and production alerting.
- Knowledge of Kafka or RabbitMQ, Terraform, Kong or Apigee API Gateway, Redis, Elasticsearch, Domain-Driven Design, and Event-Driven Architecture.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, or Kiro, as well as FinOps, cloud cost optimization, and Site Reliability Engineering practices.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, participate in Agile ceremonies, and create technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
