Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance enterprise DevOps tools and platforms.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, build failures, deployment issues, repositories, agents, runners, plugins, webhooks, credentials, and integrations.
- Manage users, roles, permissions, service accounts, secrets, API tokens, and platform access controls.
- Monitor platform health, availability, capacity, performance, usage, incidents, and operational risks.
- Build reusable CI/CD templates, shared libraries, workflows, automation frameworks, and platform integrations.
- Automate provisioning, configuration management, patching, monitoring, backups, and recurring operational tasks.
- Support GitOps and Kubernetes deployment workflows using Argo CD, Helm, Kustomize, and Kubernetes manifests.
- Implement quality gates, vulnerability scanning, license checks, secrets scanning, compliance controls, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, release, and operations teams to improve delivery workflows, reliability, onboarding, and developer experience.
- Maintain runbooks, FAQs, standard operating procedures, support records, audit documentation, and platform documentation.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, release engineering, build engineering, systems administration, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, Bamboo, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or TeamCity.
- Experience with Git and source-control platforms such as GitHub Enterprise, GitLab, Bitbucket, or Azure Repos.
- Experience with artifact repositories such as JFrog Artifactory, Sonatype Nexus Repository, Docker registries, or comparable platforms.
- Strong scripting experience with Python, Bash or Shell, PowerShell, Groovy, YAML, REST APIs, or comparable technologies.
- Experience troubleshooting pipelines, agents, runners, permissions, integrations, plugins, webhooks, credentials, and deployment failures.
- Working knowledge of Linux and/or Windows server administration, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git workflows, build automation, release management, and deployment automation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
- Preferred experience includes AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, GitOps, DevSecOps, high-availability platforms, monitoring, disaster recovery, regulated environments, and IT service-management tools.
- Preferred tools and platforms include Argo CD, Helm, Kustomize, Flux, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, CloudWatch, ServiceNow, and Jira Service Management.
- Relevant certifications or training in cloud, DevOps, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Terraform, infrastructure-as-code, DevSecOps, security, or IT service management are preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, root-cause analysis, communication, collaboration, documentation, prioritization, and continuous-learning skills are required.
