Responsibilities
- Provision and change infrastructure exclusively through infrastructure as code.
- Reverse engineer inherited applications and infrastructure, including dependencies, integrations, and data flows.
- Design, build, evaluate, and harden agentic AI solutions that automate platform, delivery, and operations toil.
- Build security and compliance into delivery through least-privilege access, secrets handling, policy-as-code guardrails, and audit evidence.
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions and Azure Pipelines.
- Enable container-based delivery using Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Azure Container Apps.
- Build reusable cloud-native infrastructure, pipelines, and self-service capabilities for secure and scalable delivery.
- Develop APIs, automation scripts, and platform integrations that reduce manual engineering requests.
- Support application teams with containerization and modern deployment patterns, and debug issues across application, platform, and infrastructure layers.
- Create technical diagrams and dependable documentation, and participate in transparent delivery practices.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated ownership of enterprise-scale cloud platforms and automation initiatives.
- Deep knowledge of agentic AI concepts including tool use, orchestration, retrieval, evaluation, and guardrails.
- Working fluency in Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code, with Terraform and Ansible experience.
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or TypeScript for APIs, automation frameworks, and platform integrations.
- Experience designing and scaling GitHub Actions and Azure Pipelines with branching, release, artifact, dependency, quality, and security controls.
- Production experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Container Apps, Helm, and ArgoCD.
- Experience provisioning production-scale infrastructure and configuration automation with Terraform and Ansible.
- Working knowledge of Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure Container Apps, Service Fabric, identity, networking, and cost considerations.
- Experience with production healthcare workloads under HIPAA and SOC 2 is valuable.
- Preferred experience applying agentic AI through professional, personal, academic, or other relevant projects.
- Preferred familiarity with CNCF projects such as ArgoCD, Kyverno, and KEDA.
- Preferred experience building delivery infrastructure and pipelines for AI and ML workloads.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Relevant Azure certifications, HashiCorp Terraform Associate, and Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification are preferred.
