Base Salary
$60k - $90k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable, efficient, and compliant technical solutions for enterprise Claims applications.
- Design, develop, test, debug, maintain, and optimize mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, and MQ.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, project managers, support teams, business stakeholders, and offshore development teams.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to offshore team members and coordinate onsite-offshore activities.
- Troubleshoot production issues, resolve technical problems, and support application performance optimization.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
- Support SIT, UAT, production deployments, post-deployment validation, backout procedures, and post-implementation activities.
Requirements
- 7+ years of strong experience with mainframe technologies.
- Strong experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, and MQ.
- Experience with Healthcare Claims Adjudication processes and related business workflows.
- Experience with code migration, release management, package creation, and code promotion across Development, Test, QA, and Production environments.
- Knowledge of post-deployment validation and backout procedures.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a team.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
