Base Salary
$200k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and drive complex, cross-functional technical initiatives from conception through production with an emphasis on scalability and maintainability.
- Set technical direction for core platform systems and make trade-offs involving performance, security, and reliability at scale.
- Partner with product, design, and data teams to define and deliver high-impact features end to end.
- Mentor and develop engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and hands-on technical guidance.
- Identify and resolve systemic engineering challenges, including technical debt, infrastructure gaps, and cross-team bottlenecks.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building and scaling web-based software products.
- Demonstrated ownership and delivery of complex technical projects with measurable cross-team impact.
- Deep expertise in full-stack development, distributed systems, or large-scale backend architecture.
- Experience influencing technical direction and aligning teams without formal authority.
- Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Fintech or investment platform experience is a bonus.
- Founding or early-stage engineering experience at a fast-growing startup is a bonus.
- Experience building developer tooling, internal platforms, or infrastructure to improve engineering efficiency is a bonus.
