Base Salary
$110k - $286k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead platform engineering initiatives involving scalable infrastructure, reusable tooling, and cloud-native architectures.
- Design, code, test, deploy, and maintain software across multiple teams.
- Architect AI-enhanced applications and intelligent systems supporting millions of users.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and influence over architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and measurable outcomes.
- Improve system availability, reliability, performance, and engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area plus five years of software engineering or related experience, or seven years of relevant experience.
- Extensive experience leading platform engineering initiatives and delivering scalable, cloud-native architectures and reusable tooling.
- Expertise designing distributed systems for real-time data processing and AI/ML integration.
- Proficiency with software development lifecycle management, testing, monitoring, and incident response.
- Ability to apply model-driven design and leverage AI agents in software solutions.
- Experience mentoring engineering teams and influencing architectural decisions.
- Preferred: master’s degree in a related field plus three years of relevant experience.
- Preferred: knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility practices.
