Responsibilities
- Maintain existing user interfaces.
- Collaborate with the team to implement new features.
- Test, debug, and verify work to meet performance, stability, and quality targets.
- Communicate updates and write clean, concise code with comments in a small, diverse team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- 1–3 years of software engineering experience, preferably in the games industry or in performant user interface development.
- At least 1 year of experience in object-oriented design and implementation.
- Basic knowledge of C++.
- Comfort with scripting languages such as Python or LUA.
- Knowledge of software engineering practices.
- Additional experience with Actionscript/Flash, Unreal or Unity, client/server environments, and Perforce or Git is preferred.
- Experience or strong affinity for integrating emerging AI technologies into development or creative pipelines is preferred.
- Interest in making games that look and play well.

- The role works onsite at EA’s Burnaby office three days per week, Tuesday through Thursday.
