Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end MES solution architecture for enterprise deployments centered on Siemens Opcenter.
- Translate production, quality, traceability, scheduling, and capacity-planning requirements into logical and physical designs.
- Own architecture artifacts, including shopfloor landscapes, ISA-95-aligned workflows, integration patterns, and deployment views.
- Provide architectural governance and act as the technical authority across MES design, implementation, deployment, and stabilization.
- Guide and mentor solution designers, technical leads, and plant-level implementation teams.
- Support Opcenter configuration and customization across Execution, Quality, APS, and Intelligence modules.
- Design integrations among Opcenter, ERP, PLM, SCADA, PLC, IoT, data, and analytics platforms.
- Define manufacturing data models, genealogy and traceability structures, and real-time data flows.
- Collaborate with operations, plant leadership, engineering, business, manufacturing, IT, and Siemens stakeholders.
- Support sales and pursuit teams with MES architecture, estimates, and proposals.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in MES solution architecture and implementation, with strong Siemens Opcenter expertise.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale MES programs across multi-site manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of shopfloor operations, manufacturing execution, and production systems.
- Hands-on experience with Siemens Opcenter Execution, APS, Quality, and Intelligence modules.
- Experience integrating MES with ERP, PLM, SCADA, IoT, and data platforms.
- Strong knowledge of ISA-95, ISA-88, and manufacturing data models.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging plant-level and executive stakeholders.
- Siemens Opcenter certification is preferred.
- Experience with industrial manufacturing, automotive, aerospace and defense, life sciences, or process manufacturing is preferred.
- Experience with digital manufacturing transformation and complex, regulated, or multi-site client environments is preferred.
