Responsibilities
- Write highly testable, automatable, performant Java code across the software development lifecycle.
- Develop products and deliver features and updates according to the product roadmap.
- Create and review feature design documents and provide input to solution specifications.
- Participate in daily meetings, planning, retrospectives, and other team activities.
- Coach or supervise middle and junior engineers as required by the project.
- Conduct code reviews, establish quality metrics, and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
- Deploy applications and configure infrastructure using cloud providers.
Requirements
- In-depth proficiency in Java and experience implementing applications using defensive programming.
- Experience developing web applications with advanced framework features and industry-standard conventions.
- Hands-on experience with monolithic, microservice, and serverless architectural styles.
- Practical experience writing and performance-tuning complex SQL.
- In-depth proficiency with JUnit and Mockito.
- Experience with application deployment patterns and tools.
- Practical experience configuring infrastructure using popular cloud providers.
- Knowledge of software design, best practices, and application design and implementation patterns.
- Desirable experience configuring application security aspects and optimizing application performance.
