Responsibilities
- Write highly testable, automatable, performant Java code across the software development lifecycle.
- Develop products, features, and updates according to the product roadmap.
- Develop and review feature design documents and update solution specifications.
- Participate in team meetings, planning, retrospectives, and other team activities.
- Conduct code reviews, establish quality metrics, and monitor quality improvements.
- Coach or supervise middle and junior engineers when required by the project.
Requirements
- Demonstrated software design experience using application design best practices and patterns.
- Hands-on experience with monolith, microservice, and serverless architectural styles.
- In-depth Java proficiency and experience developing web applications with advanced framework features and industry-standard conventions.
- Practical experience writing and performance-tuning complex SQL.
- In-depth experience with JUnit and Mockito.
- Experience with application deployment patterns and tools.
- Practical experience configuring infrastructure using popular cloud providers.
- Desirable experience configuring application security aspects and optimizing application performance.
