Responsibilities
- Take the technical lead on projects.
- Mentor team members.
- Automate everything.
- Build and maintain production infrastructure on AWS.
- Design and build pipelines for global infrastructure management.
- Analyze complex system behavior and performance issues.
- Develop observability, alerts, and runbooks.
- Conduct capacity analysis and planning for SaaS applications.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- 6-9 years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on SRE or DevOps.
- Experience provisioning large cloud environments using IAC tools like CloudFormation and Terraform.
- Familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and microservice architectures.
- Solid scripting skills in languages such as Python, Ruby, Bash, or Go.
- Experience with CI/CD automation tools like Jenkins or Gitlab CI/CD.
- Proficient in configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Salt.
- Knowledge of GitOps methodologies and observability tooling.
- Strong understanding of SRE principles including SLOs, SLIs, and incident response.
- Experience with security design principles for cloud-native applications.
