Responsibilities
- Translate Lumen Validated Designs into customer-centric narratives, demos, workshops, webinars, proof-of-value engagements, and enablement assets.
- Build, test, and present interactive demos that demonstrate end-to-end platform architectures and connect technical capabilities to business outcomes.
- Facilitate customer, partner, seller, webinar, and workshop engagements for both technical and business audiences.
- Partner with Product, Technology, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and ecosystem teams to shape activation strategies and refine solution narratives.
- Incubate product-led and partner-led go-to-market motions, then create repeatable frameworks and assets for field and partner adoption.
- Apply Lumen’s Demo Center of Excellence framework to align demos with customer sales moments, decision points, and required technical depth.
- Use Claude, Copilot, Gemini, and similar AI tools for storytelling, research, rapid prototyping, demo creation, and scalable enablement.
- Continuously improve demo flows, customer narratives, adoption guides, and workshop materials using customer and seller feedback.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in customer-facing technical or commercial roles such as solution activation, sales engineering, technical pre-sales, technical marketing engineering, developer advocacy, or solutions marketing.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Proven ability to present to customers, facilitate high-impact conversations, and connect technical capabilities to business outcomes.
- Strong technical fluency across complex platforms, architectures, integrations, and product capabilities.
- Experience personally building or delivering demos, workshops, proof-of-value engagements, webinars, customer briefings, enablement programs, or go-to-market motions at scale.
- Strength in customer empathy, discovery, storytelling, messaging, and outcome-based solution positioning.
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally across product, engineering, sales, marketing, partner, and field teams.
- Experience in cloud, product, software, networking, telecom, cybersecurity, AI, partner ecosystems, or large-scale technology environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with Claude, Copilot, Gemini, or similar AI tools is preferred.
- Fluency sufficient to direct and correct AI-generated HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus comfort with APIs, web technologies, rapid prototyping, front-end concepts, or interactive experience design.
