Base Salary
$175k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Translate customer and market requirements into epics, user stories, and prioritized engineering backlogs.
- Guide development teams in building post-quantum cryptography product offerings and ensure implementations align with NIST PQC standards and sound cryptographic engineering practices.
- Develop technical solution architectures and responses for BAAs, RFIs, and RFPs, and support proposal responses and product demonstrations.
- Advise customers on cryptographic inventories, risk prioritization, crypto-agility, phased PQC migration roadmaps, implementation, orchestration, and continuous monitoring.
- Assess and communicate cryptographic and key management risks based on data sensitivity and system criticality.
- Contribute technical and market insight to PQC offering strategy, product roadmaps, maturity models, and migration playbooks.
- Curate and manage partners for cryptographic inventory, distributed key management, software-defined cryptography, and quantum-resistant solutions.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Cryptography, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of federal cybersecurity experience, including direct involvement in NSA/NIST pilots.
- 5+ years of encryption or secure systems engineering experience involving PKI and key management solutions.
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience with PQC migration planning or implementation.
- Working knowledge of NIST PQC algorithms such as ML-KEM and ML-DSA, including key-material generation, distribution, and consumption within cryptographic systems and cryptonets.
- Demonstrated ability to explain technical cryptographic concepts to engineering teams and executive or business audiences.
- Experience operating across customer organizational levels and managing strategic technical partners.
- Desired experience with distributed key management architectures, crypto-inventory tooling, PQC deployments in constrained or tactical DoW/IC environments, AI/ML applications in cyber operations, PQC migration tooling, roadmaps, maturity models, migration playbooks, or PQC and applied-cryptography publications and talks.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for TS/SCI; an active security clearance is a plus.
