Responsibilities

Own a functional area from product conception through delivery and production operation.
Design, document, code, and maintain backend systems using multiple technology components.
Develop distributed systems with attention to performance, scalability, reliability, and availability.
Conduct and participate in code and design reviews while maintaining code quality, testing, and documentation standards.
Mentor and coach junior team members.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver pragmatic, business-impacting systems.
Apply security, data protection, and privacy best practices.
Implement and advocate for automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Evaluate technology stacks and support AI and machine-learning enablement initiatives.

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with at least 5 years of experience.
Excellent programming skills in one or more languages, preferably TypeScript, Golang, or Python.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
Expertise in distributed-systems design and architecture, including system performance and scaling.
Experience with Databricks, Vertex AI, SageMaker, or custom GCP/AWS machine-learning stacks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to understand complex systems and resolve issues.
Self-driven ownership of product design, implementation, and production operation.
Familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face is preferred.
Open-source participation or relevant contributions is preferred.
Interest in web3, generative AI, machine learning, or other emerging technologies.
