Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and troubleshoot secure, stable, and scalable software components.
- Write high-quality code using at least one programming language with limited guidance.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI coding and automation tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, and documentation while validating outputs.
- Analyze upstream and downstream system impacts and resolve technical problems of basic complexity.
- Gather and analyze diverse data sets to identify problems and support secure application development.
- Apply software development lifecycle processes, methodologies, and automation capabilities.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 2+ years of applied experience.
- Expert knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and AWS services.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database-querying languages.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating AI-generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle.
- Exposure to agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- Preferred experience in UI development using JavaScript and React JS.
