Responsibilities
- Design and implement services that plug into the existing microservice ecosystem.
- Contribute to technology-stack decisions and apply best practices for reliability and availability.
- Solve open-ended problems across backend systems and infrastructure.
- Write readable, maintainable, testable, production-grade Python code.
- Work with microservice architecture and highly distributed systems.
Requirements
- 6+ years of backend programming experience.
- Mandatory experience with Python and production-grade Python systems.
- Understanding of algorithms and databases.
- Experience with microservice architecture and highly distributed systems.
- Experience with at least one cloud infrastructure provider, such as AWS or GCP.
- Willingness to learn and evolve.
- Preferred experience with payment service providers.
- Preferred knowledge of frontend development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Bootstrap, jQuery, or Vue.js.
- Preferred knowledge of Kubernetes and Terraform.
- Startup, scaleup, technology, application, or similar environment experience is a plus.
