Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain systems for managing, publishing, and accessing billions of real-time menu records.
- Implement small-to-medium features and moderately complex tasks with growing independence.
- Write maintainable code, participate in peer reviews, and uphold coding and testing standards.
- Collaborate with Product and stakeholders to refine requirements and shape effective solutions.
- Troubleshoot and debug software, including moderately complex production issues.
- Assist with deployment and monitoring while contributing to reliable, scalable, and resilient distributed services.
- Use Claude Code and GitHub Copilot extensively in the daily development workflow.
- Participate in on-call duties and help optimize delivery, testing, and deployment practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in the .NET/C# ecosystem and ability to independently implement moderately complex features and algorithms.
- Experience with version control and CI/CD pipelines, including tools such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, and TeamCity.
- Experience writing and maintaining unit and integration tests, with understanding of TDD principles and tools such as NUnit and Jest.
- Understanding of distributed systems and experience building scalable, resilient services using technologies such as Redis, Kafka, and AWS infrastructure.
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
