Responsibilities
- Design and implement application-level architectures, data solutions, backend systems, and subsystems for complex projects.
- Develop ETL jobs, scripts, database structures, data warehouses, data marts, and data processing solutions.
- Design and maintain CI/CD infrastructure frameworks and pipelines using cloud and development tools.
- Participate in architecture teams, evaluate technologies, recommend development and testing approaches, and validate test plans.
- Create project life cycle plans, coordinate schedules and assignments, manage risks, and deliver projects on time and on budget.
- Provide technical leadership for onshore and offshore development and maintenance projects.
- Act as a liaison with business units, resolve technology issues, and advise senior management on technical strategy.
- Develop documentation, perform complex technical and functional analysis, and mentor junior team members.
- Support data environments involving ESG factors, pricing data, daily trades, and time-critical business data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and five years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree in one of these fields and three years of relevant experience.
- Experience designing and developing financial services applications, specifically in asset management with knowledge of portfolio management.
- Demonstrated expertise with ETL jobs, ODS and data warehouses, data marts, Informatica, PL/SQL, Python, Shell scripting, and SQL tuning.
- Experience with Snowflake, Oracle, dimensional data structures, star and snowflake schemas, and database design.
- Experience building CI/CD solutions and infrastructure frameworks using uDeploy, Jenkins, CloudFormation, Git, and Artifactory.
- Experience with AWS, APIs, backend system architecture, and applications supporting data warehouse environments.
- Technical leadership experience for onshore and offshore development projects using Agile methodologies and JIRA.
