Responsibilities
- Lead solution architecture for migration from legacy core banking systems, including Silverlake SIBS, to cloud-native platforms.
- Develop transformation roadmaps, target-state architecture, migration strategies, and phased implementation plans.
- Architect scalable microservices-based, API-first solutions on AWS and Azure for high-volume banking transactions.
- Design integration architecture for digital channels, payments, and third-party services using modern event-driven, containerized, and serverless patterns.
- Lead data migration planning, mapping, quality assurance, cutover management, rollback procedures, and business continuity planning.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors throughout transformation initiatives.
- Present architectural recommendations to senior management and advise stakeholders on technology selection and implementation.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and act as a trusted advisor on architectural decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.
- AWS or Azure Solution Architect certification is required.
- 8–12 years of banking technology experience, including at least 5 years in solution architecture.
- Proven experience implementing or migrating Silverlake SIBS.
- Deep understanding of core banking modules and successful transformation projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, strategic thinking, technical expertise, stakeholder engagement, and complex transformation management capabilities.
- Experience with next-generation core banking platforms such as Thought Machine, Mambu, or Temenos is preferred.
- Knowledge of AI/ML integration for fraud detection and risk assessment is preferred.
- Familiarity with real-time processing systems and event streaming technologies such as Kafka or Apache Pulsar is preferred.
- APAC banking market experience, regulatory knowledge, fintech partnerships, and embedded banking experience are preferred.
- TOGAF certification is preferred.
